remember

"uncle Kenny, I farted, can you smell it?"
Yes I said those words but in my defense I was a cute little girl at the time standing on the truck seat while my uncle drove.  This is the story I heard over the July 4th holiday when my family came down to visit.
When I seen the challenge at Scrap It With A Song (Flo Rida- Wild Ones) I knew I had to do this page.  Although this was the first time I heard the "fart" story, I had heard many stories of my uncle and dad doing crazy things and apparently the were pretty wild so my inspiration was the words from the song "wild one". I just gotta say Scrap It With A Song is very inspirational.

I also followed the sketch from PageMaps,

I LOVE this sketch,

everything just fell together perfectly,

PageMaps is offering a huge prize of embellies

for the winner

The challenge over at Fab n Funky is "Summer Holiday"  This page that I did, so far has been my best summer holiday memory, my family came to visit over July 4th weekend.  We didn't go anywhere or do anything specific, we just hung out and enjoyed each others company and told "fart" stories, it was fab.  I hope I haven't stretched the challenge to far, check out what the design team made at Fab n Funky.

The Fabulous Friday challenge at Frosted Designs is "Stamping" and Pink By Design Stamps is the sponsor.  The inspiration over at Frosted Designs is fabulous, I am lovin Lori's page and Happy Birthday Lynne!  I stamped on my layout the numbers in the upper left, the date and the saying on the bottom of the photo.

Thank you all for looking

pretty in pink

This is an image  I got  from Saturated Canary,  there are the cutest images ever over there.  I created this for the challenge at Saturated Canary challenge blog, the challenge is bling, mine didn't photograph so well and I really tried but the center of the flowers are gems.  I used the sketch from CPS for their challenge they are being sponsored this month by Stampotique, another of my all time favorite stamp company.

I turned the sketch

goin to the beach

stamped on vellum                           stamped on cardstock

glued vellem image to cardstock image              cut out

Here's my summer fun beach card.

I tried something new, first I stamped image on vellum, then on cardstock and colored the cardstock stamped image , then glued the vellum image to the colored image and cut out and sewed around the edge.  The vellum gives it a soft look.

Hiccup

This is my hiccup,  this is traditional and digital scrapping along with stamping, the digital elements I found at Deviant Scrap and Digital Crea.  I was inspired by this song by Mindy Gledhill

it's the challenge song at Scrapping the Music, it's so catchy , as soon as I heard it I knew I wanted to get a picture of my grandaughter holding the world for the lyric "I wannna hold the whole wide world right here in  my open hands", and she is a little girl and I hope some day she has great big plans and I hope she takes lots of chances. The world started out as a baseball, thats where the editing comes in, I am still trying to figure out how to use Gimp, not to bad this time.

I used the sketch from Sketchabilities
I love how the colors pop on Carries page, go check it out.

I am also entering this at The Artistic Stampers monthly challenge, the theme is Red, White and Blue.  I love ZuZus tag over there,  it's so cute
Over at Scrap It Girl the challenge is to use punches, my stars and the medallion circle on my page were punched, the monkey cans over there that mothershipscrapbookgal did would be perfect for a nursery, I love the monkey.
At Top Tip Tuesday they want to see sparkles, my stars are glittered and the blue and white stars are like crystal and I added digital sparkles to the photo.  The tutorial over there is pretty cool, I love it when I find new techniques to try.
It's Hats or Handbags over at My Time To Craft, I chose to use a hat, I think it's kinda cute and so is the inspiration over there.
My favorite kind of challenge is happening at Tuesday Taggers Try It On Tuesday, it's anything goes check out Zandras album it's the cutest.
Things with wings is what is happening at Southern Girls Challenge ,  everythings a flutter, I figure that my little hiccup has wings in this picture she is fluttering too.
It's all relative at Order of the Opus Gluei and this little hiccup is someone I really love.  I am very impressed that Electra has finished scrapping all of her moms photos, I hope I get there someday too.
There are some fantastic creations at Moving Along With The Times, they want to see anything but a card and since this is a scrapbook page I hope it qualifies.
Thanks for looking and if you stayed with me this long, you may wonder why this little girl is my hiccup, well it's pretty simple, she is always hiccuping
