A box for mom

This is a box I made for mom, it was originally a shoe box.  It just had this idea one morning and this is what came about.  I tore paper in different shapes and sizes, glued to box, added lace, ribbon, embellishments.

This card was so much fun, I just loved working with the western theme and the aged look.

This is one of the pictures I entered in the fair this year, all the editing was done in picasa.  It was taken with a Nikon digital camera.

Something new

I didn't think I had enough on my to do list (ha ha) so I got up this morning and decided to create a blog!  Well here goes, hopefully I can figure this out in a reasonable amount of time.
This is my first blog, my first post and my first upload, wow such a newbie.
