I love these stamps, they are from Stampotique.  The saying is hand written, I'm sure you could tell that!  I thought it went with everything else better than typed.  This is for the challenge at
The paper variety - Friend, quote the saying is Good friends are like stars... you don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

Birthday Wishes

There is no DSP on this one, its all stamped.  I used Easter Blossoms for the background on the Verry Vanilla and the Wild Wasabi, the bird was stamped with Chocolate Chip and punched, the Crumb Cake was embossed and border puched.  All items used are from SU except border punch and the 2 pearls.  The stamp sets I used are from Easter Blossoms, Punch Potpourri and Sincere Salutations. I made this for

This is for
StampitCrazy - fairy, pink, purple, glitter and ribbon
Tellen's Place - ribbon

There is purple ribbon, glitter on the fairy and flower.  I colored her with SU markers and copics for the skin.  I think I like it better when I color with the chalk inks and blender pen.  She is a cute digi.

I love these stamps at Stampotique store.  I created this for Stampotique blog - Welcome

Behind the story

Posted by PicasaThis is what I came up with for the photo inspiration challenge over at Smeared Ink .  For the leaves I ran some plastic through the bs with sizzix die, I thought it would cut it but it didn't, it just kinda embossed it, so then I took some TH acrylic paint and swiped over it and then wiped it off so the paint stayed in the crevices, I think it came out pretty cool.  I used HOTP border stamp, SU stamps, and quote I found on net.

Stand by me

Oh my this really touched me, as soon as I heard this song I knew immediately who my Stand By Me person is, no question, my mom, she is the best friend anyone could ever have and one helluva mom.  When this challenge came up  I listened to the song over and over while looking for pictures to use and crying because I have been so blessed to call this woman my mom. This is what I journaled, which I normally don't share ( I really don't like my journaling).

MOM, You are the one person who has always stood by me.  Through thick and thin, good times and bad, you have always been there for me.  You are my best friend, I know I can share anything with you and you will accept me just the way I am.  You always understand no matter what.  You have always had my back.  You know me better than I know myself.  You always know the right thing to say to me and exactly how far to push me.  These pictures are  happy moments in my life and I 'm glad I shared them with you..  You have been the anchor in our family, the one to hold us together.  I hope I can give back to you all you have given to me.  Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made.  I am so grateful you are my mother and my best friend I couldn't have anyone better.

I shared this entry because I am grateful she is my mother and thankful to be her daughter and I want everyone to know I think she is the best ( as most of us do about our mothers , I'm sure) I just wanted to share.
I made this for Sketchy Thursdays and Scrapping the Music

The eyes have it

Ok, I had to post this , I have to say I love photography, I love to capture a picture that makes you take a second look.  If  I could do anything and never worry about money (you know the million dollar question, if you could do anything you wanted to do what would it be?) I would be a photographer that traveled the world.  I keep dreaming.  Every once in a while I have what I think is a really good shot.  When I finished editing this one I knew I just had to post it, so while I do love scrappin and card making you may run across some of my pictures here too.  Oh this is my daughter.  Posted by Picasa

Top 5

Posted by PicasaHere are my top 5.
1. My blog, I have been having so much fun on it.
2.Making cards
3.True Blood ok honestly it was a tie between this and Twilight, but the Twilight series is packed away in  a box right now so I couldn't get a picture of it.
4. Scrappin
5. Right now I'm reading Laurell Hamilton, ok I haven't been reading that much since I have been blogging.  I gotta say the people at the library are real nice, I have been renewing this same book for about two months now.  I really gotta finish it.

That's my TOP 5, at least for now.
This is where I entered it at All about me challenge

Isn't she beautiful

I absolutely love this stamp set by SU, I got this for xmas and loooove it.  The paper and ink are SU also.  It's funny I actually started creating this card for a challenge not even listed below.  I couldn't enter it because when I finished the card I didn't have everything on  it that I was supposed to.  I got carried away again while I was making it, this is such great therapy for me, I'm totally in a zone when crafting, I love it!

These are the challenges I am entering in:
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Show your newest stamp
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #92 - Photo Inspiration you will have to go here to see photo
Charisma Cardz - Pearls and Lace
Pile it on - Brand spankin new (new stamps)Posted by Picasa
