no words necessary

I didn't put any words on this page because there is to much to say, this is a pic of my gramma with 2 of my 3 kids, the last pic of her that I know of before she passed.  Even though there is a lot to say, for me there are no words necessary.

Natalie and Amy are having a die challenge, the winner gets a stamp and die set. For my dies I used six different dies, four tim holtz dies, one for the birdcage stand, the birdcage, and two different flourish swirly ones, a leaf die and a die for the picture frame.
Simon Says is offering a $50 gift voucher to the winner of the shabby chic challenge, they are always so generous, think what you could do with $50.
It's anything goes over at Flutter By Wednesday use any winged creature, I have two butterflies on my page.
There's a new sponsor over at One Stop Craft Challenges, it's Dr. Digi's and the challenge is anything goes.
Fashionable Stamping is having a swirly challenge and they have moved to a .com., so be sure to bookmark the new addy.  Now I know my swirlies are not obvious but they are there, there is a swirly above and below the picture they blend in but if you look close you can see them, there is a swirly hanging up the birdcage and the birdcage stand is a little swirly and yes I stamped the small butterfly and circle flourish around it.  There is also the blue swirly on the side of the pic.
There's also a new sponsor at Craft Us Crazy, it's SK Digi's, the challenge is anything but a card.
I have followed the sketch below from C'est Magnifique,  they have beautiful kits over there.

Thank you all for looking and leaving comments :)

Smile

This boy turns 18 in a couple of days, boy how time flies.  He always has the most wonderful smile, now you know how far behind I am on my scrapbooking!

I have used some misc paper on this one, along with washi tape, dies , punches, buttons.  Underneath the picture it says smile but it didn't photo well.

I am entering this in the following challenges:  Craft Us Crazy , it's an anything goes challenge with a fab sponsor.  It's to die for over at 4 Crafty Chicks, break out the dies (  I used an arrow die and tags die).  Oh and I love Lori's color combo on her card.  I decided to do this page in pastel colors with only a pop of red and the challenge at 2 Sisters is pastels, I think this qaulifies.  It's to die for as well over at Stamptacular Sunday, don't forget to stamp though (my stamping is the brackets around the newborn pic, the ducky on the tab, the grid on the arrow and the onesie on the tag).  Last but not least I have started watching whats going on over at Sketchbook 365 and followed this sketch for the challenge.

Thank you all for looking.

Be Yourself

Whether you wear pink hats and tutu's or have tattoos and piercings.
Be Yourself.

Here is my project for March's challenge at Scrap It Girl.  This month is a recipe challenge, The challenge is simple.. 1 stamped image, 2 punches, 3 patterned papers.

I used one  Tim Holtz stamp that I stamped on my cardstock then stamped several times on other cardstock in different colors and cut out the hat, wings and words and adhered them to the stamped image on the cardstock.  I drew a box for my stamped image to sit upon. I used two punches both scalloped circles different sizes though, to make the flower.  I used three different scraps of paper to hand cut the flags/banner, which is the same paper I used to make the flower.  I inked the edges of the the cardstock and added some brads at the bottom to balance things out.  I really wanted to stick to only using the recipe but the brads really balanced things out.

You can enter this challenge at Scrap It Girl , you have all month to enter, that gives you plenty of time to make something fabulous!  You can enter up to two times and make anything you want.  You can check out all the rules here to make sure you qualify, it's really easy.
While your over there check out the gallery, tons of inspiration, I love the boxes.

This month is being hosted by April and this is what she is offering to the lucky winner.

It includes a 6x6 My Mind’s Eye paper pad, a Fiskars stamp set, an Inkadinkadoo stamp set, American Crafts This To That foam squares, American Crafts ribbon, a Craft Smart ink pad, a baggie of Studio Calico chipboard butterflies, K&Company paper ribbon and some Recollections flowers. Perfect for Spring! :)

You can check out her blog here

I also thought I'd enter these challenges as well: Craft Us Crazy is having an anything goes challenge with a great Saturated Canary prize.  Krista's images are so adorable.  Over at Moving along With The Times they are getting ready for Mother's Day so the theme is make a card/creation with or for a female.  It's anything goes over at Simon Says Stamp, my favorite kind of challenge.  At the very inspiring Fashionable Stamping blog the challenge is to use red, brown and black.  I am very pleased I was able to accomplish this I would have never picked this color combo, the design team over there had no trouble at all , gorgeous creations.  Put on your wings and fly on over to City Crafter and join in on the wings challenge.

That's all for now, thanks for coming by!
