Three little words can mean so much. Isn't the baby cute , she's from Some Odd Girl ok she is listed as Tiny Baby, so could be boy or girl. I chose to call her a girl because this is the thank you cards I made for my daughter for her baby shower gifts and she had a girl, my first grandbaby! I thought I would enter this at
This is the work of my son, the first pumpkin he has carved all by himself, unfortunately Jack didn't last to long within two days he had turned to mush and mold. Luckily I had taken these pictures right away. I had read somewhere that if you put lemon juice on fruit it will last long, fyi, not true for pumpkins. He did a good job at carving, I made some pretzel sticks and he made the decorative tin can, he gets his craftiness from me ;). The rat next to the pumpkin, you can barely see him. There is a story behind this rat, which is not real, thank goodness. The kids and I like to trick and scare each other so we have various fake snakes, bug, rodents lying around the house and when you least expect it when you open a draw, closet or container, yes there will be a critter to greet you. The rat is our lastest addition to the family the kids really got me the other day, I walked right into the bedroom and there he was right in the middle of the floor and oh yes I screamed and ran the other direction and of course then felt foolish, I was the one who had just recently purchased the rat. They laughed!!! 
Ok , so I haven't been around here in awhile. I got a little discouraged and lost some juice. See about a year ago I became a demonstrator, high hopes, gun ho!! not to make millions but to do what I love and share it (yea and ok if I could cover my costs I would have been pleased). I should have known better this was my third attempt at this kind of business, see , I just am not a salesperson, just doesn't work for me. So for months I didn't advance in the business part of it, I finally decided to give it a good go ahead, move forward, I had to work it, right? So I printed some flyers, passed them out, made lots of crafty projects, reserved a building, spent lots of money, and waited for them to come........
.....and waited. They didn't come! How could this be? No one?? (actually my bff and three co-crafters did come, thank you for being there for me) All day we sat there, not one person. I'm sorry but I found this quite discouraging, I thought I had found the calling I had always been looking for. Now I had to evaluate my situation again, quit or hang in there? What to do , what to do?? I really felt after three attempts at this line of work and another let down, I was being told to stop, this is not it, but how can that be, I love this, I love crafting. So I didn't blog for awhile, I did still craft because I had specific things I had to get done, but my heart wasn't in as much. That and life kinda got in the way!! Lots of things going on, I'm sure you all know what I mean.
This week at Simon says stamp and show is anything goes, how easy is that! Over at Scrappin the music the inspiration is Three Little Birds, it's so much fun to scrap to music. The words to this song would be the message I give to my youngest here almost twelve years ago, and the words I wish I would have believed if I had heard them twelve years ago. I chose 3 pics and added the birdie. At One stop craft challenge the recipe is 1 ribbon/lace, 2 pattern paper and 3 buttons. I used more of some of the items, not sure if this will count. Wow there is nearly 200 entries at 2 sisters challenge where it's anything goes. Babies is the theme at Scrapcreations this week. It's cute and cuddly at Moving along with the times. Wow there is lots of embellies at Stamp something , mine for this page is the ribbon, I love this ribbon and my flourishes. Gingersnap Creations has a recipe of 3 words, 3 papers and 3 buttons, again I maaaayyy have went overboard on the buttons, I can't help it , it's my new die. There's buttons galore at Frosted designs. There is no pink or blue on this page which isn't allowed this week at Crafty catz. It's an open challenge at Sketches in Thyme you just have to use any sketch. I followed the sketch at Sketchabilities , there is some fantastic inspiration there.
It's all a flourish at Simon says stamp and show. Top tip Tuesday is celebrating weddings and anniversaries. This was my wedding, my first and only one, I did things a little backwards, kids first , then marriage, oh well, whatever works! Anything goes at Craft your passion so this will be among the many submissions. They want to see some flowers at Charisma cardz , I made these flowers from scratch, they are supposed to look like calla lillies, which is what I had at my wedding, not to bad huh? More flowers at I did it creations. It's a Total eclipse of the heart at Scrap it with a song, this is so much fun to scrap to music , which is where my title came from it's a line from the song. I followed the sketch from Pages in time lasting memories 
So I've been mia but I got this done , I need to do more pages, as you can see these pics are from 09, I am behing on scrapping, I haven't even scrapped his baby pics, I will get there. I have so many ball pics and this is what summer is about baseball and cheese fries at the ball park ,Fab n Funky wants to see some summer lovin. It's both pleasure and pain at HDH this week. Something you like and something you don't. I love my stamp by Daniel Torrente , I got it from Stampotique. The pain part or dislike is single layer cards, I can never seem to pull them off where I am satisfied enough, cas cards are hard for me too, I love to pile things on and I am not found of even #'s unless its 8 or symmetry. So I definetly made a card I don't usually make, but I gotta say I think she's pretty cute! Anything goes at Craft Your Passion and you can enter as many times as you want as long as it's different and no backlinking. Try it on Tuesdays has some weird and wonderful stuff they are showing off. At Stampotique they want to see cas, and you can use any stamp for this challenge. I did choose this stamp from Stampotique, I love it and don't get to use it often enough. Thanks for looking!
