I thought I would go with the back to
school theme. Since it's that time again. I created a trio to work together to appreciate our
teachers out there. A little lunch sack to place a surprise in ,
hopefully a good one maybe a cupcake, yum!, a card so my youngest can
write a handwritten thank you note on the inside and a little pencil holder
filled with pencils for a gift.
I really like the background on the card and the pencil cup which is
actually a tomato paste can, I embossed black cardstock and then brayed
over it with white ink, I kinda think it looks like a chalkboard.
For the card I stamped the image, colored it in, die cut it out added some more die cuts with dsp a button and apple with some extra numbers.
On
the pencil cup (tomato paste can) I first put washi tape around the top and bottom then
added a layer of gesso and glued down the embossed background paper, stamped and colored the girl again I popped her on the can with some extra numbers, apples and a tag. This is the perfect size for a pencil holder.
I stamped the bag with random numbers , die cut the top , added some dsp more die cuts and a tag with twine. Super easy and quick.
