Sparkles

Awww isn't he cute,  I know , I told you I was behind with Christmas, just a few more days and I'll be done.  The kids have already said to me "we should just leave the tree up for next christmas" they know it could be months before I get it down (hanging head in shame).  Anyway I don't remember paper used for Mr Cutey Pie Penguin, but the stamp is SU, retired.  This one is for Sparkles Forum

It's a hair thing

Whadda think?  I love it, with the hair and all.  Get this the black rock background..........it's duct tape, is that so cool or what?  The image is from Stampotique there are so many fab images over there.  The stamp and tape were presents and I have been crazy to use them, I am very pleased. 




























I am entering this in a  blog I just found, looks pretty cool thought I'd check it out Nerdy Victorious Scrapbookers the challenges seem to be what inspires you from a collage they post, and then you can create whatever.  I really like that the results are very eclectic, kinda like my own stuff, and people get to vote for their favorites.

This was the inspiration.

A tag - TH wannabe, yep thats me

Yea I know I should be done with Christmas, but I am not, I just get to enjoy it a little longer than most because I'm always so far behind on my to do list. Note to self: New Years resolution, throw away to do list, Ha! 
This was a tag I put on a present I gave for Christmas, luckily I took a photo of it before I gave it away, actually I made four homeade tags in all, this is my favorite.  I tried after watching the TH 12 days.  I need improvement.  I distressed the edges. I stamped the background image with a stamp I absolutely love the christmas collage from SU.  You can't see it all that well but its back there, also stamped the december, and the 25.  I added paint to the 25 , just like TH (mmm mine doesn't look near as good as his, I need more practice.  I also tea dyed this tag, which was new to me, first time, I really like the results.  My embellishments are the ribbon and snowflake.

Creative Scrappers! Sketch #133

This is what I came up with for the sketch challenge at http://creativescrappers.blogspot.com/2010/12/sketch-133.html  I really like this sketch and it got me motivated to do a page, I am so bad I have tons of pics that I want to scrap and there they sit in the box or on the computer.  These challenges get my butt in gear to get stuff done!! Any way this was Cypress Gardens, in FL 2007.  They have beautiful gardens there the kids and I had lots of fun.  Enough of the writing already, I am so not a writer!

Brick by Brick

I did this for the Brick by Brick challenge at Smeared Ink. Awesome community.  This was going to be a card but inspiration got away with me and it ended up being 8 1/2 x 11 it just came alive on its own, I love it when that happens. I love the TH embossing brick folder, it's awesome.  The tree is from a TH embossing folder as well, I just cut the tree out, I used mostly TH distress ink  The girl stamp unknown so if anyone out there knows, please let me know, thanks.  Same goes for the angels walk among us stamp.  The dragon stamp I do know is Inkadinkado.

It's hard to see but there are three angels stamped in the black area where the crown is, I couldn't get it to photograph well.  I was supposed to get inspiration from paramores video, I watched it once and then thought about it for days, it all flowed out fairly well, until I got to the gesso part, for some reason I had to think about that for two extra days, then decided to go for it, see I had never worked with gesso before and everything else was done and well if I had used the gesso and it didn't work the whole project would have been trash, but in the end my gut said "go for it" really loudly.  So I did.  I think it works, what do you think?
